I purchased a number of books from the World Book Fair at Delhi. Predictably, a majority of them were crime/ mysteries. Some of the authors and books, I had heard about but never read but there were quite a few totally unfamiliar to me. Have you read these books or authors? What do you think of them?

You got me, Neeru. I haven’t read any of these books. But I have read some other books by Lescroart and Winspear.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having a look Elgin. How did you find the books by Winspear and Lescroart?
DeleteYou got some treasures there, Neeru. Greenwood, Winspear, Castillo, are all very talented authors. And I hear good things about Hewson, too. I hope you'll enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteThanks Margot. Nice to hear that you find them talented.
DeleteKatharine Hall Page and Jacqueline Winspear.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having a look Patti. Did you enjoy the two authors?
DeleteI have read the first few books in the Maisie Dobbs series by Winspear, and I got tired of them. A lot of people really like the series, I think I am in the minority. I read the first book by Hakan Nesser (same series as The Return) and I really liked it. Other than that I have no experience of these writers. I do want to read something by Kerry Greenwood and Joseph Kanon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy. Winspear was described in the blurb as female Alexander McCall Smith. That didn't impress me much:). Hope this book by Nesser turns out to be nice too.
